Medical FAQ'S

"I have a medical card from "x" state, can I use it to purchase marijuana in Maine? What about using a temporary/virtual medical card?"

Maine has reciprocity for nearly every medically legal state, but there are exceptions. A full list and additional information can be found here. As of 2020, medical retailers now require a physical copy of one's medical card (as opposed to a temporary or virtual copy) that is issued from the same state as displayed on the patient's ID.

Do I need a medical card to purchase marijuana in Maine?

No, Maine has numerous adult-use cannabis dispensaries open to anyone 21+ with valid identification. Unfortunately, Our products and services not available via the adult-use market, and do in-fact require a medical card. The state's recreational marijuana program, despite making significant progress since it's inception, is still in it's early-ish stages and generally speaking, if possible, one should enter into Maine's incredibly accessible medical program for access to premier marijuana shops throughout the state

"What is the difference between live resin/rosin/batter/shatter and other forms of concentrates, and why are some more expensive than others?"

"To put it simply, rosin is a concentrate created by combining heat and pressure to extract resin out of either flower or bubble hash, creating flower rosin and hash rosin, respectively. Live resin, also referred to as BHO, is created via hydrocarbons (most often times butane) in a C1D1 lab, using flash-frozen flower as a starting material (the plant is chopped for harvest but put on ice and frozen before being used for extraction). Batter, diamonds, shatter, and other consistencies are all variations of BHO, though not all are considered live resin, as cured starting material is also commonly used as well. The price deferential generally comes down to rosin using nothing but water and heat it's creation, known as a solvent-less concentrate. It is also typically made by hand and due to the more laborious extraction and pressing process, larger room for error, generally smaller yields, and numerous other reasons, the price is typically much higher than any other concentrate."
